We are currently seeking experienced CM Engineers to join our dynamic team. As a CM Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the configuration management processes and ensuring the smooth operation of our software development projects. This is a crucial role that requires strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage the configuration management process throughout the software development lifecycle
Maintain and enhance the version control system, ensuring code integrity and traceability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement configuration item baselines
Develop and enforce configuration management policies, procedures, and standards
Monitor and report on configuration management metrics to ensure compliance with project requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve configuration management issues and conflicts in a timely manner
Review and assess change requests to determine the impact on configuration items and implement appropriate changes
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
Proven experience as a CM Engineer or similar role
Strong knowledge of configuration management tools and practices
Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools
