• Work as a first line support for IPBB, PS network (Juniper routers – Extreme Switches– Huawei routers & Switches –Cisco routers & Switches -SMART EDGE IPRAN routers -Citrix load balancers - ZTE GGSN, SGSN) logs and troubleshoot in case of problems and cascade it to concerned team.
• Troubleshoot Transmission links (IRUs, ELRs-STMs) & monitor IPBB nodes.
• Monitor Network nodes Performance and health (Temperature, CPU & Memory utilization) through (nCompass OPNET monitoring system).
• Troubleshot and support night action maintenance window for 3 domains.
• Monitor traffic trends through (MRTG, Cacti Graphs).
• Monitor top protocols through Mails.
• Monitor different alarms appeared on PS nodes using Netneumen tool
• Investigate in logs appeared on syslog server and for traffic cases for different network nodes and services.
• Monitor firewalls (UTM, Juniper SRX, FortiGate, Cisco ASA), Mitigating DOS attacks on corporate network using Arbor for SP
• Perform Escalation and Notification to keep management and other business units informed during system outages and incidents
• Create and update/manage trouble tickets for any detected problem.
• Open and follow up on maintenance windows during night shift.
• Executing audits in accordance with accepted internal auditing standards.
• Responsible for sending out notification SMSs for major outages
• Rotating shift work schedule.
