As a Clothing Presser, you will play a crucial role in our textile industry, ensuring that garments are pressed and finished to perfection. As a Clothing Presser, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining pressing equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality garment finishing. You will work closely with other members of our team, including seamstresses and quality control personnel, to ensure that garments meet our standards of excellence. This role requires excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Press garments using the appropriate pressing equipment and techniques
Inspect garments for any sewing or finishing defects
Identify and resolve any issues with garment quality or pressing
Collaborate with the sewing team to address any pressing-related issues
Maintain and clean pressing equipment to ensure optimal performance
Follow safety guidelines and procedures while operating pressing equipment
Assist in other areas of production as needed
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a Clothing Presser, preferably in a textile or garment manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of different fabric types and their pressing requirements
Proficient in using various pressing tools and machinery
Exceptional attention to detail and quality
Ability to work well in a team environment
Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy garments as needed
