We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as an EM Team Leader. As the Team Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our emergency management department. You will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in planning, coordinating, and executing emergency response efforts. This is a high-stakes position that requires exceptional leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to think strategically and make quick decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of emergency management personnel
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and protocols
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure effective emergency response
  • Conduct regular training sessions to educate employees on emergency procedures
  • Oversee the maintenance and readiness of emergency equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with external agencies and organizations to enhance emergency preparedness
  • Stay up-to-date with current emergency management practices and trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in emergency management, public administration, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in emergency management or a related field
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate emergency response plans and protocols
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to emergency management
  • Proficiency in emergency management software and tools
  • Certification in emergency management, such as Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent
