Job Description

As a Telecom Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing and coordinating all aspects of the telecommunications infrastructure for our organization. In this position, you will oversee the implementation, operation, and maintenance of the organization's telecommunications systems and equipment. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration across all departments.


Responsibilities

Coordinate the installation and configuration of all telecommunications systems, including telephone systems, voicemail systems, and videoconferencing systems.

Manage the day-to-day operation of the telecommunications systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or outages related to the telecommunications systems.

Monitor and analyze telecommunications usage and costs, identifying opportunities to optimize expenses and improve efficiency.

Collaborate with internal departments to assess their telecommunications needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

Liaise with telecommunications vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements are met.

Develop and maintain documentation related to the organization's telecommunications systems and processes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Proven experience in managing and coordinating telecommunications systems and equipment.

Strong knowledge of telephony systems, including PBX, VOIP, and SIP.

Proficiency in using telecommunications monitoring and management tools.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Good understanding of network infrastructure and protocols.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
