Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team. As a Help Desk Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to our clients. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks, and to resolve any hardware or software issues that may arise.

You will be responsible for handling incoming support requests, troubleshooting problems, and providing solutions or workarounds in a timely and efficient manner. In addition, you will maintain documentation of support activities, including problem resolutions and troubleshooting steps, and contribute to the development of knowledge base articles for commonly encountered issues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming support requests
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
  • Document support activities, including problem resolutions and troubleshooting steps
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of internal knowledge base articles
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks
  • Monitor system performance and respond to alerts
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Help Desk Support Specialist or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networks, and operating systems
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes and procedures
