We are seeking a highly motivated and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Call Center Representative or Contact Center Representative. As a representative in our consumer services industry, you will become an essential part of our organization, responsible for providing exceptional customer support and assistance to individuals seeking information or resolution regarding our products or services.

In this role, you will be the main point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing accurate and timely information. You will need to possess strong communication skills, as you will be required to actively listen to customer concerns, empathize with their experiences, and provide appropriate solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide information to customers regarding our products and services, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information
  • Resolve customer complaints, issues, and concerns, striving to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Process orders, forms, and applications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Manage customer accounts, updating information, and resolving account-related issues
  • Utilize computer systems to track, gather information, and troubleshoot customer inquiries
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding company policies and procedures to accurately address customer needs
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center or contact center environment
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to articulate information clearly and concisely
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in difficult situations
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software is a plus
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
