We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cafe Manager to join our team in the hospitality industry. As a Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cafe, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maximizing profitability. Responsibilities
Manage and supervise all cafe staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
Ensure excellent customer service by consistently monitoring the quality of food, beverages, and service
Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Monitor and control operating costs and expenses
Implement and enforce health and safety regulations
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional initiatives
Plan and organize special events and functions
Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing training and feedback
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment
Requirements
Proven experience working as a Cafe Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Sound knowledge of food and beverage preparation and presentation
Proficient in using POS systems and basic computer applications
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
Ability to create a positive and cohesive team environment
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification or degree in Hospitality Management is a plus
