We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Forensic Accountant to join our team in the accounting industry. As a Forensic Accountant, you will play a critical role in investigating and analyzing financial information to uncover fraudulent activities, financial irregularities, and other financial discrepancies. You will work closely with legal teams, auditors, and law enforcement agencies to provide expert financial analysis and testimony in litigation cases.

As a Forensic Accountant, you will utilize your strong accounting knowledge and investigative skills to examine financial statements, tax returns, bank records, and other financial documents. You will also conduct interviews with suspects, witnesses, and clients to gather relevant information. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing reports, presenting findings, and providing expert opinions on financial matters.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who possesses exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also crucial to effectively communicate complex financial matters to both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, a strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and legal regulations is required to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

·         Conduct financial investigations to detect fraudulent activities, financial irregularities, and other financial discrepancies.

·         Analyze financial statements, tax returns, bank records, and other financial documents to identify patterns and inconsistencies.

·         Interview suspects, witnesses, and clients to gather information and evidence.

·         Prepare reports detailing findings and conclusions from financial investigations.

·         Provide expert financial analysis and testimony in litigation cases.

·         Collaborate with legal teams, auditors, and law enforcement agencies to assist in investigations and legal proceedings.

·         Stay up-to-date with accounting principles, auditing standards, and legal regulations related to forensic accounting.

Requirements

·         Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

·         CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is preferred.

·         Proven experience in forensic accounting, auditing, or related role.

·         Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and legal regulations.

·         Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

·         Attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis.

·         Proficient in using accounting software and forensic accounting tools.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
