We are searching for a highly motivated Payroll Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. As a Payroll Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our organization. This position requires a strong attention to detail, exceptional analytical skills, and a comprehensive understanding of payroll procedures and laws.

Responsibilities

·         Collaborate with HR department to gather and maintain employee payroll information

·         Calculate and process employee wages, bonuses, and commissions

·         Verify accuracy of timekeeping records

·         Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations

·         Process payroll deductions for benefits, taxes, and garnishments

·         Prepare payroll reports and reconcile payroll discrepancies

·         Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters and resolve any issues in a timely manner

Requirements

·         Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

·         2+ years of experience as a Payroll Accountant or similar role

·         Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel

·         Solid understanding of payroll regulations and laws

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·         Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

·         Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills
